 Teascha American Teascha is from the United States, and some of her designs are African-inspired. She loves the colors and prints of traditional African textiles: "The bright colors always make me feel happy." Teascha's designs are inspired by the fabrics she sees, and she is not afraid to experiment with them. "I always like bold statements, and pairing fabrics together that you wouldn't really think go together. I love contrast. Most of my designs have come about by simple experimentation. I might see some pieces of scrap leather laying in my sewing studio, and try to incorporate them into my designs somehow. Trial and error has been my go-to process for design." Teascha is outdoorsy. She loves to run, hike, and take road trips. She lives near her favorite place, Lake Tahoe. "The lake is incredibly gorgeous. Out of all the lakes I've seen, this one takes the cake without a doubt. The clarity of the water, the surrounding snow-capped mountains and the lush greenery are unbeatable." Teascha is a high school teacher. In addition to her outdoor activities, she loves spending time with her hubby-to-be and their dog.
