Evergreen Scarf

When Almira began designing, she drew inspiration from major designers including Valentino and Oscar De La Renta. She believes that African-inspired fashion, with its wide range of colors and patterns, is extremely versatile, and works to capture this versatility in her designs.

Almira's favorite place to visit back home in Freetown, Sierra Leone is the marketplace. "You can observe all the hand-made work the community takes time to create, which also gives me great ideas in designing my fashion."

Almira enjoys making jewelry, baking cakes, and spending time with her family and friends. (more)
